A Collect for Memorial Day
O LORD God of hosts, the Almighty Protector of the nations, You raise up men and women for the vocation of protecting our country; we give thanks to You for those men and women who gave up their very lives in the service of this country and we thank You for their sacrifice that enables us to live in peace and freedom. Amen.
